Welcome to the early childhood research lab!

There is widespread agreement regarding the importance of early life experiences, and the central role of early relationships between young children and adults. It is accepted that the quality of these experiences serves as the foundation for successful learning, optimal adaptation to society, and effective functioning in later life.

In our lab we research development in early childhood (birth-age 8) in its environments (family, educational framework, society). We explore the nature of interactions between parents, preschool teachers, elementary school teachers, and children and examine their impact on children’s development and adults’ wellbeing.

Hello,

I recorded a short lecture (half an hour) on the Parenting Pentagon model: Principles for beneficial
parenting.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8W5xom7ZZc
You are also invited to join the parenting pentagon group on Facebook, where you can read a
summary of the model, address questions about the five principles and learn some tools about each
and every principle. I know that it is in Hebrew but Facebook "suggests" translations.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/625346547655811
I hope that both the lecture and the content in the Facebook group will be interesting to you.
I would appreciate it if you could forward this post to parents, educators, professionals, and anyone
else you see fit. The PPM model is holistic and friendly. The goal of spreading it is to create a
common language among parents so that they will be able to support each other.

Thanks
